A university team project of mine was, HYVE, a directorial hub designed to aid the homeless youth in Victoria. Early on, it was established that finding relevant support was difficult to navigate consequently creating additional stress and confusion impeding the ability to acquire the help available. Our website aims to facilitate this process by ensuring a simple manner in which the homeless youth can access relevant support/ government grants created for those in need.
HYVE

01 Artefact
Sleeping Bag
Targeted at the homeless youth with the intention of increasing awareness about the company whilst simultaneously supporting them with sleeping resources. While the sleeping bag isn’t designed to wholistically end homelessness it does cater to a basic need while also increasing brand awareness.
02 Artefact
Posters/ Advertisements
To be positioned in potential hotspots for homeless youth in Melbourne, a potential to be the first step in a user journey for our primary audience as the posters have a qr code that people can interact with as well as links to social media, website, phone number and physical space to cater for the homeless youth and any accessibility / lack of accessibility that they have.

03 Artefact
Podcast
Aimed primarily at the homeless youth community (opportunity for them to hear stories and gain advice from individuals previously homeless and that were able to make it out) and mainstream society (as a means of raising awareness); it will go for roughly 15-20 minutes and will can be streamed on Spotify and the Hyve app. It will be conversational/in a tone and vernacular understood by the target audience

Hyve App
The app is designed to support our original website, by creating a way in which the homeless youth can access support on the go. While it is not realistic to expect everyone has access to computers, the app provides a streamlined version of the services offered digitally.
